26. Letter of support (SNSF)

Certain funding lines of the SNSF (Ambizione, PRIMA, Spark as well as SNF/Innosuisse BRIDGE Disovery at the time of writing) require a letter of support from the institution. You will receive an e-mail notification if your input is required. The video shows, how you can support an application as is or require changes to it.

27. Support without the letter (EU-SERI/NIH)

Applications to availabe EU funding lines (via SERI, the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation) and for projects funded by the NIH (National Institute of Health) or the US Government require institutional support (as in: a confirmation from the institution that certain criteria are met). AVA will notify you via e-mail, if your input is required. This video shows how to confirm a request and how to request modifications (via rejection).

28. Financial signoff

As financial PI (principal investigator), owner of an area of responsibility ("profit center"), head of a unit or member of the Executive Board of the University, you hold signatory power for third party funded projects. AVA sends an e-mail, if your signoff is required. This video shows you, how to do the signoff and what documentation is available to you in the process.
