New functions at the database AVA

Update

Since the successful introduction of AVA in April 2023, we have gained valuable experience with the new verification processes with over 7,000 applications. Thanks to your constructive feedback, we are pleased to inform you that the following new features will be available from 13.12.2023:

  • Rejected applications: Under "Set" and "Go" (initialize project, new document, modifications and closures), rejected applications can be copied and resubmitted. A new entry is no longer necessary.
  • Transparency: If a project opening application or a new document is in the process of financial approval, the "Status" column in the table below "Ready - Set - Go" now shows you who has the application for approval. This allows you to contact the person directly without having to contact the third-party funding management.
  • Debtor number: The debtor number is now displayed in the e-mail with the material number. It now contains all the information you need to create the Factura Light.
  • Financial approval e-mail: The UZH logo and some project-specific information have been added to the financial approval e-mail to emphasize the seriousness of the e-mail.
  • Small amounts: New documents on existing PSP-elements up to and including CHF 1,000 can now be accepted in AVA without financial approval, which speeds up the process.

If it has been some time since the last browser update, we recommend carrying out an update to ensure error-free use of the new functions. Any pop-up blockers must be deactivated.

These new functions should help to make your and our work even more efficient. However, we are still open to your ideas and suggestions on how we can adapt AVA even better to your needs.
